Worldwide Porto Wine Sandeman

As you must have heard, Porto's wine is really famous. Not only for its taste but also for its quality. On the river side in front of Ribeira, we have Gaia, a beautiful city decorated with a lot of Wine Houses.
Sandeman is one of these houses. Such an iconic brand deserves to be visited. Here I present you such an amazing family house that has many features besides producing wine. A place worth visiting with a lot of new experiences to try on.
Being transported to a 1790's London, you will wish to be a part of this amazing scottish character. This Worldwide Porto Wine will give you a taste of the city, which everytime you try will call back for those times when you were here.

Santa Catarina

Rua de Santa Catarina is one of the most busy streets in Porto. It is an important economic centre due to its high number of stores. There you can find stores for all types of taste and pockets. The fashion business dominates this street.

If you are more an indoor person, you can go shopping in Via Catarina, also in this street. It is a crowded place, mainly with students of the Porto area.

Coffee Shops

Whether you like coffee or not, this is a great place to spend an afternoon in the sun with your friends. The first street location of Costa Coffee, the British franchise, here in Portugal is right in downtown Porto in Passeio dos Clérigos.

If Costa is not to your liking, there is no need to panic as you can always visit Armazém do Caffè. The first picture above is representative of the space near Hospital São João, and the second of the space in Rua de Sá da Bandeira, near Aliados.

Yet another example of a popular coffee shop is Moustache Coffee House in Praça Carlos Alberto, near Cedofeita. All of the shops mentioned above also count with a comforting environment which makes you feel at ease and allows you to relax.

Next on the list is a treat for ice cream lovers. Amorefrato, in Rua Passos Manuel, is a small shop where you can find the best homemade ice cream to refresh you in the warm days of summer.

Last, but certainly not least, is 100 Montaditos. A taste of our Spanish neighbors here in Portugal, you can find this restaurant in the same square near Hospital São João as Armazém do Caffè. This is a great place for a casual lunch with friends, enjoying the sun and the amazing tapas.

Rua das Flores and Spirito

One of the most popular streets nowadays is Rua das Flores. It was recently renewed and now it is a place of attraction for tourists and locals due to its wonderful coffee shops and terraces. This place is also known for its gift shops and local tourist information offices.

Across this street, you can see Spirito, an ice-cream shop very appreciated amongst younger people. Its home made and unique flavors of ice-cream and tasty cupcakes are one of a kind.

Avenida dos Aliados

First on our list of places to visit in Porto is Avenida dos Aliados. This is the heart of the city, loved by both locals and turists. It is in the center of everything and so it has become one of the most selected spots for celebrations of all kinds. The architecture of the buildings that surround it is enough reason to visit this avenue but to come to Porto and not visit Aliados is missing out on the true essence of our great city.

Right at the end of the avenue, you can see the City Hall, one of the most popular monuments of our city. Its imposing stature and beautiful architectural design date back to the beginning of the 20th century. The preferred feature of this building is the clock tower, which impressively stands at 70 meters high.
